SEEKING SOLITUDE

Size: 36 x 49 x 2.5 inches

Original Acrylic On Cradled Wood Panel

SOLITUDE: “the state of being alone”.

Being alone with one’s own thoughts is a useful tool to acquire for wellness. This time can be used for self reflection, speaking with a higher power or simply quieting the mind from the noise of life.

Solitude can also be useful when one is feeling strong emotions or experiencing life changes. Being alone and quiet can provide clarity and perspective.

While creating “SEEKING SOLITUDE” I wanted to share the importance of finding a quiet space just for yourself.  Many of my quiet moments occur in nature, particularly amongst the trees. This is where I listen to the birds sing, watch the squirrels play and the hear the wind whistling amongst the leaves.
