FEATURED PAINTING

MAN IN BLUE HAT

Size: 13 X 32 X 2 inches

Original Acrylic on Cradled Wood Panel

MAN IN BLUE HAT celebrates the history of the Fedora hat.  The Fedora hat has a rich history which dates back to the 19th century.  Victorian Sardou, a French milliner and dramatist, named the hat after the main character in his 1882 play “Fedora”.

Today the Fedora is enjoyed by both men and women. It is a popular hat that adds a layer of sophistication to any outfit.  Celebrities tend to wear it casually, whereas many others wear it to add a bit of vintage style to their wardrobe.

The Man in Blue Hat is wearing a blue velvet Fedora which matches perfectly with his ensemble.  By choosing to wear this particular hat, he is displaying his level of confidence and style.
