CONTEMPLATION
Size: 24 X 24 X 2 inches
Original Acrylic on Cradled Wood Panel
The ideas surrounding Contemplation grew from places held in memory—quiet streets, small towns, and distant villages where the atmosphere seems to invite stillness and reverence. Whenever I wander through such places around the world, I am captivated by their quiet presence: the unhurried rhythm, the softened light, and the sense that time has momentarily paused.
With this painting, I wanted to evoke that same feeling of quiet observation—to create a moment in which the viewer might pause and simply wonder.
Where is this place?
Who is looking out from the windows?
What stories might be unfolding behind those quiet walls?
Perhaps the scene awakens a memory of somewhere once visited—a place where you stood alone, away from the noise of the world, and found a moment to reflect.
Contemplation is an invitation to enter that silence, to linger in the stillness, and to discover within it a place of your own.

How to Use Acrylic Skins in Artwork
I enjoy creating acrylic skins with paint leftover from a session.
